is pissed at the apartment complex and the water co...
I work from home you stupid fux.

Last night we got a third notice from the apartment complex talking about the water getting turned off for "emergency work" and that it could be for a large portion of the day (9A-2P).

The first and second "emergency notices" never came to fruition, so now the complex is letting them have another try. I'm getting sick and f-ing tired of notices about water shut-offs that never happen! either do it or don't!

midweek last week 9A-6P (fail)
Saturday(weather/fail)
and now today 9A-2P

I can understand the miss on Saturday due to the blizzard conditions, but WTF was their problem mid-week last week?

MAn, I so totally understand.

My old apartment complex was constantly beset by both elevator outages and "emergency" water shut-offs.

Seriously, if it keeps happening week after week, how can it be called an "emergency"? Just fix the #%$@ thing!

Healthy & Happy New Year. I hope your dad's health concerns have eased some since your last post! our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

the emergency water shut off that we were expecting doesn't seem to have happened. I'm hoping that it was a general announcement that might not affect all units.

doubtful that we would have elevator outages, unless we had trouble with our legs. :) we're in garden apartment blocks; 2 up, 2 down units.
