I'm having trouble with this jerq also... @ 09:01 am

Mood: annoyed annoyed

Gary,

The rules are simple. I will clarify. Comply with the original request.
Delete the account named: xxxxxx on the site and do not send marketing or any other type of e-mail to this address (from any of your domains, or folks that you sell the info to, or whatever) except to say that you have complied with this request.

Further communication except for your e-mail advising compliance will be considered harrasment and will be delt with locally.

For your edification I have included the publicly available information about your domains and your ISP.

Yeah, signing up there was the most spam-riffic thing I've ever done. I have to have a raft of filters on my email just for the fallout from having once signed up for his sites...

Yeah, me neither (whew!) It goes to my gmail which fortunately filters them out now that I've tagged it as spam. Just so irritating!

And has he replied yet? Did you get more emails?

I think detailbear gets spam from him even though he didn't visit the site, and got the same spam in return.

hey.

He has not yet complied with the request to delete the account. He did, however, send out a complementary 3 day upgrade to the useless 'free' account that I signed up for, hoping that I would use it or something.

I have entertained writing him again and putting some dates on the request for deletion. I was thinking voluntary compliance before Thusday 0930, manditory compliance before Friday 0930, and include a comment about that after Friday 1000 I'll start contacting his ISP/hosting company, his local connectivity provider, his registrar and maybe the IETF. Oh, yeah and the US gov't. I think he needs a little motivation.

I would be interested in hearing DetailBear's tale or is it tail?
no, no, no Tale.
Normally sounds from a tail are accompanied by some not so pleasant odors. [smirk]
