Mood: optimistic optimistic

On my call with Mom today, she told me that the orthopedist removed her cast yesterday during her office visit. She described something that sounded like a (brace) that they gave her to wear instead of the cast.

I'm very happy that the breaks are progressing well!

very true, I was kind of surprised that they took the cast off at 4 weeks, but Mom told us that they took x-rays, the doc reviewed them and then started taking the cast off.
